CORE aims to empower youth through transformational outdoor experiences that cultivate a spirit of personal growth, adventure, environmental stewardship, and leadership; inspiring a lifelong connection to nature and outdoor exploration while equipping young people with the skills and confidence to lead future generations.
CORE is a non-profit organization located in Morganton, NC, established and backed by a committed group of families in 2024. Having witnessed the transformative effects of outdoor recreation and education on their children and themselves, CORE was created to provide sustainable and accessible outdoor programming to youth for the benefit of the entire community. By engaging youth, strong connections are nurtured among families, creating a supportive network for everyone involved. These relationships not only enhance the students' lives but also contribute to a more robust and vibrant society as families collaborate to share experiences, knowledge, and resources and future leaders are made.
